My off the couch training is starting the second week of base building.Having run only about 14 miles last week I'm looking to increase my mileage to about 25 miles this week. My 24 week training plan starts next week with 30 miles scheduled. In this episode I continue to get my legs back into shape after 4 months of not running. Getting out of bed to run before work continues to be a struggle as I try to get used to getting up almost two hours earlier. Cold weather, darkness and early mornings will start to sharpen my mental toughness that will be needed to finish a 100 mile trail race.
